well i started reading a book called Kurt Vonnegut and its pretty interesting. the book is like an autobiography of a guy named Kurt Vonnegut. the quote i found interesting was when he was giving examples of simple jokes and he said this, " Even the simplest jokes are based on tiny twinges of fear, such as this question, what is the white stuff in bird poop?" my question is who would even ask that? why would someone want to know what that is? my comment is that isn't it poop to but plus i don't even want to know.

So like I was playing PlayStation earlier when suddenly I remembered I have to post a reading journal. I spotted a book laying on my desk so I picked it up and started reading. Ms. Kay always says don't grab any book your not going to be engaged into but I actually enjoyed this book. I think the required time to read was like only 20 minutes at least but I actually ended up reading for about an hour. you might be thinking "oh wow an hour" but that is a long time for me not being a whole reading fanatic. So anyways the book is called LOSER GOES FIRST by Dan Kennedy. The quote I have from this book was "maybe this year my final present would be the black Les Paul guitar." l chose this quote because that sounded a lot like my past Christmas I was really hoping for a new guitar but in the end I didn't get nothing but clothes and hugs. So my question is "Don't we ALL just hate when we are really hopeing for a special gift and in the end we dont get it?". My comment was that i think we all realy haye it when we dont get what we want especially when we are so used to geting everything from our parents. so i think we should appreciate everything they do for us and dont just get upset over a gift that will end up being in the trash later on.
